  1. save your appetite for when you arrive in Fernie...then hit "The Curry Bowl". This place rocks! They do a pan-Asian spread with, obviously, curries, stirfrys, noodles. And the beer selection!...must have at least 50 different bottles from all over the world. It's a small place and there was a line up out the door when we arrived Friday night but it shouldn't be like that during the weeknights. Try the samosas as an appy if not just to enjoy the mint chutney that comes with them. You won't be dissappointed by this place.

If you can't make it all the way to Fernie then there is also a nice little place called the "Moose Mountain Grill" in Bellevue in the Crowsnest Pass (crossing the AB / BC border). Fantastic chef that worked for some posh places in Calgary apparently. Smaller menu but everything is yummy!!
