Place to Order Food Online?

I'm moving to a place where there is VERY little selection at the grocery store.

Is there somewhere that has a large selection (without outrageous prices/shipping) for food online? I'm looking for asian foods (canned/boxed) as well as things like bottled/canned roasted red peppers, chiles, artichokes, etc.

Any help would be appreciated!

If you like Spanish imports like oils, cheeses, charcuterie, and the like, check out La Espanola Meats. They have a wide selection of roasted piquillo peppers.

Well, while the original poster is currently in Los Angeles, s/he indicated s/he is moving to a city that has extremely limited selection of ethnic food, suggesting the move is definitely out of the Los Angeles (or anywhere remotely urban or near urban) area.

I wonder if the original poster can be more specific as to where s/he is moving. Perhaps a Chowhound in the area has knowledge of where to purchase ethnic-specific food in the area.

In the L.A. area Vons, Albertsons and Stater Brothers offer web ordering and home delivery. I have been using Vons for a few years. Ralphs also offers special ordering via their web site for UPS shipment.

There are a zillion web stores out there that offer food stuffs, usually when I am looking for a particular item, and don't have a web store in mind, I just google the name of the item, and Google will return a bunch of hits on retailers.

i think amazon just decided to start grocery... not sure on their prices, but i was reading that they tested it out and it was a hit... never used it though...

it looks like ur in te LA area not sure where but vons i believe offers online shopping and delivery in the area...
