Disappearing post

I posted 2 messages today-- one was a query about places to eat near Bryant Park, and later one about Chipotle's on 42nd St. I got responses on both, and one person recommended specific choices at Chipotles. I just returned and saw my first post still there, but not the second. I had wanted to print out the chowhound's suggestions about what to eat at Chipotle's, but my message along with the replies had vanished. How did this occur? Is there some way I can retrieve them? Why would someone (at Chowhound?) erase these messages?

    Me again. By tracing my own name, I found the Chipotle post and replies on the Chains board. Mystery solved.

      I wonder if the threads got moved rather than deleted. Can you see them on your "My Chow" page? I see this thread in the "chains" board. Is this one of them, perhaps?
