Try El Malecon (Dominican food) on Bway and 175th--rotisserie chicken is incredibly tasty and the pork mofongo is good.
Yes, that's where I always go with my friend who works at the hospital. The chicken is great, and so is the pernil.
There's also a Salvadoran hole in the wall a block or two south of Malecon, but I haven't tried it. Anybody?
