Any favorite items from appetizer to dessert or anything to avoid?

Like DC Coast [same owners], their signature dish is the smoked lobster. It is good. I like the "Peking style" duck rolls as an appetizer and their trio of sorbets is usually a good ending.

I am partial to the crispy whole fish...

The ribs (offered as an app) are sinfully delicious. I highly recommend them.

My suggestion is avoiding TenhPenh altogether. It's really overpriced for what is really mediocre Asian food. You'd do much better to just go to a true Asian restaurant.

I agree that TenPenh is pseudo-Asian just as Acadiana is pseudo-Cajun/Creole. It is not the place to go for good Asian food. However, it's worth a trip once; there are a some good things on the menu even if they are not authentic to any particular ethnic cuisine.
