Has anyone tried Jinpashi in West Hollywood yet? I heard the sushi is great and completely authentic.
Jinpachi, on Santa Monica 1 block east of Hancock. I am their biggest fan. Sushi is great Omakase, desserts are amazing (the chef's wife is an ex pastry chef at Spago.) Pricing is med, omakase us $50-80 per person. The room is comfortable and nice.
Are you talking about Gonpachi, which is a branch of a restaraunt in Tokyo, that is opening on La Cienega?
could you be a little more specific about what you heard and what you mean by completely authentic? Do they throw you out if you ask for a california roll or a spicy tuna roll?
that's about all that I have heard so I can't get to much more specific... I don't even know if I spelled the name right.
