Montreal choices - HELP Please!

agorenko Aug 16, 2006 09:57 PM

We are New Yorkers coming to Montreal for a romantic weekend, and of course, great food and wine. We will be there for 4 nights. I have made reservations at Joe Beef, APDC, and Anise. I am thinking of a casual bistro for the 4th night. I want something very typical for Montreal and something that I can't find here in NYC (and something not too expensive). Please help me pick a place for the 4th night! Thanks in advance.

There's Le continental on St-Denis where the food is very good. The service leaves to be desired, but the food is always great.

Yoyo, a great BYOW in the Plateau Mont-Royal.

Ditto the above, especially Au Petit Extra. And don't forget:

        Au 5ième péché

        Le P'tit Plateau (BYOB

        Le Bleu Raisin (BYOB

        BU (wine bar

          Hi Carswell!

Say, when are you going to favor us with your review of Au 5ième péché?

Reasonably priced bistro? I think you'd be pleased with either Au Petit Extra or Le Margaux.

          Au Petit Extra

          Le Margaux
