Need Recommendation - Argentinean Restaurant for Steak with Chimichurri Sauce
I recently saw a television program that showed a NY Argentinean restaurant that prepared its steak with a chimichurri sauce. I have never tried it and it looked very tasty. Does anyone have any recommendations in the Glendale/Pasadena/Downtown area?

Not in your requested area, but farther west:

They also have a house brand of Chimichurri sauce that you can order/purchase (hit that button up top). Don't know if they "actually" make it themselves.

El Morfi Grill, in the 200 block of North Brand (across from the Alex Theatre), Glendale. They make the chimichurri themselves (and sell it in bottles).

Most argentine stores sell chimichurri and it's easy enough to make.
For home prep - consider going to Carniceria Argentina at Victory just east of Colfax in North Hollywood. they have lots of argentine cuts (and even marrow gut - chinchul(l)in).
And I think they sell chimichurri as well.
Catalina market also has an argentine-style butcher. Western s of Santa Monica blvd

Buenos Aires Market on Sepulveda in Van Nuys serves a delicious chimi sauce with their steak. Went there today for lunch.

Thanks for all the great tips. Mercado Buenos Aires sounds great, but it sounds as if they don't serve wine and is more of a lunch spot. I'm looking for a dinner, but will definatley check out Mercado Buenos Aires in the future. El Morfi Grill is about 5 minutes from my house, so I think I'll check it out Friday evening and will report back.

Service can be leisurely (but they're very nice and they don't @$#% things up), so plan accordingly.

I know its not in your area, but there are quite a few locations of Gaucho Grill... I really like their chimichuri and I love their Proveletta (fried cheese)....
