thanks for any good or bad reports.
Delicious stuff. A very nice selection of cheese and meats. When he has it, the pulpo with polenta is extroidinary as is the spelt lasagna. Very nice vino. It's a bit pricey and I believe the place is closed until September, but it's worth the wait and money.
offers the food of the marche - it really matches the osteria model, really being a sociable and bulked up wine bar which has gradually increased its main dish offerings. Everything is interesting and good from the plates of cured meat and cheese to the desserts and there are many interesting wines on offer, including after dinner wines which they enjoy sharing (at a price of course) Ditto the octopus, but weve enjoyed every dish served to us. If they still are offering the weekday prix fix, go for it - its a real deal.
I find Aliseo a bit too precious and somewhat hit and miss. The last time I ate there I had a goat dish that was very salty, but the pasta dish was very interesting and tasty. I find it expensive for what it is and they are cash only which makes this more annoying. I know some people love this place, but we are not inspired to go there often.
