Famous Italian bakery (for cakes) in the Valley?

There's a surprise birthday party for a friend in the valley and I'm in charge of bringing the cake. I heard there is a famous Italian style bakery that does a great cake - possibly a "napolean" or "neopoliitan" cake.

Does anyone know?

If not, then any reccomendation for a good Italian cake would be appreciated!
