Flip Happy's Back! (Austin)

amysuehere Aug 16, 2006 08:49 PM

The folks from Flip Happy are back from vacation and now serving again, y'all. As mentioned in the deleted post earlier (sigh, oh bother), they are now only serving at night on Fridays.

Wed. - Sat. 11am - 2:30pm
Fri. 11am - 2:30pm and 5:30pm - 9:00pm

(I'll say it again), awesome, thanks Amy. Though, I'm bummed with the hours because I can't get that far south for lunch so I can only go Friday night for dinner or Saturday. I can't imagine working in that trailer in the dead of summer for lunch or dinner...

And sitting on a blacktop parking lot, no less! Bleck!

What are the menu options? Any that you recommend?

Kent, I put the website up in my original message but (again, boy am I starting to get frustrated with CH - they delete almost everything I post) it got deleted. Let's see if I can post the website without getting deleted this time...

These crepes seriously rock! I had one last week and spent the rest of the day mentioning it to everyone I came into contact with. If you haven't tried them yet, it's a great fun place to turn friends on to. The chicken, gruyère, pesto, and tomato crepe is more addictive than crack cocaine!

I'm confused. The crepe you describe DOES sound fantastic, but seems to be a combination of different crepes offered. Are they letting you mix/match ingrediants to make up your own crepe combination?

They've have a chalk board of menu additions that changes, but I'm sure they would mix and match any of the ingredients they had on hand.
