Later Night eats in Manchester, NH

gini Aug 16, 2006 08:44 PM

I am looking for somewhere to go grab a casual bite after a Fisher Cats game this weekend. We have been to down and dirty BBQ and are looking for somewhere casual, cheapish (entrees in the teens or lower), serves alcohol and would like to serve us at 8:30 or 9pm. We prefer Korean (there's a place in Manchester that has been mentioned before - can't remember the name), Vietnamese, or somewhere with a fair amount of grease. Bars with excellent bar food would also be welcome.

The following have looked good to me:
Cafe Momo
Pho Golden Bowl
Little Saigon
Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse

Ideas? Thanks!

Strange Brew (88 Market Street) is a lot of fun. Kinda looks like a biker bar from the outside, but it really caters to a casual crowd. 55 beer taps, free munchies most nights. Pretty darn good pub grub too.

They have a great draft beer list. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks for this recommendation - stopped in Saturday night after the game - excellent selection of beers on tap and decent nachos and wings (which weren't buffalo spicey, but I quibble).

The Red Arrow Diner is open 24 hours and has good greasy stuff...

Glad you had a good time.

BTW, strangely enough, I've never had either the nachos or the wings there. They DO make a pretty darn good meatloaf, and a tasty burger.
