Pesce Pasta on Bleecker St (near Cornelia) is a great Italian joint that specializes in seafood.

I know you are asking for Italian, but on Bleecker street there is a spanish restaurant which serves an excellent seafood paella. I think the name is Cafe espanol, but I am not sure. I had take out once this winter from this restaurant and we had the gaspacho, seafood paella and salad and everything was excellent. It is on Bleecker near MacDougall.
