Veal Oscar in NJ ?

Anyplace in the central NJ area that serves a good version of this??

For some reason it just popped into my head...

  1. Hey, Sethboy, That is an old classic. It occurred to me that there are still some restaurants in Central NJ which have been around forever and continue to have very dated menus. So, a little Googling and -- voila! The Buttonwood Manor, in Matawan, serves Veal Oscar for $22. We have eaten in their public dining room back in the day, as well as being forced to attend a couple of family events in their catering facilities. In a word: Yech!

Btw, posts re: Central NJ actually belong on the Mid-Atlantic Board.

    1. Not veal, but Morton's steak house (there's one in Hackensack) has delicious filet mignon oscar (they spell it Oskar)...
