Taqueria Los Cunados, Milpitas report (w/ pics)

P. and I went here for lunch 8/15/06. I tried the shrimp burrito regular which comes with rice, pinto beans, salsa & fajitas $8.15. They are supposed to ask what kind of tortilla and beans you want but they didn't ask! What is standard is the flour tortilla and whole pinto beans. My burrito was fine-about 5 or 6 whole shrimps, onions, rice, beans, some salsa served very temperature hot.

P. got a lunch chicken plate-served w/ rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes & tortillas $6.49. He seemed to like it.

We also tried the homemade flan $2.50, which I thought was pretty small for the price, but pretty rich and tasty for me.

The melon aguas frescas is very good. Nice, not too sweet, and very refreshing w/ lots of ice. Medium $1.50; Larger $2.80

Also got a medium fresh squeezed orange juice 16oz for $3. There is also a 32 oz for $5.99. OJ was fine, I prefer the melon though.

The shrimp burrito regular, flan, and drink made me really full, next time I'm just gonna get a few tacos ($1.99 basic taco) and a drink.

Nice free salsa bar and free chips (under a heat lamp). There is both separate men and women bathrooms. In the women's bathroom they don't have a light switch it's a dial type. It was clean when I went w/ seat cover, toilet paper, soup, paper towels.

Now back at work, I think I smell like food. So maybe don't eat here if you have an important meeting.
