I would recommend you change your plans if possible. Da Silvano has mastered the art of blending poor and pretentious service, with mediocre food in an cramped and loud setting AND getting people to pay a lot of money for the poor experience. Maybe things have changed in the last few months but I doubt it.

Place gets a lot of hype which is not justified by the food. I have eaten there a couple of times and have not been impressed by anything. In addition, if I remember correctly, they print on their menu that they will not give you grated cheese on your pasta. I found this sort of pretentious and obnoxious.
