Does anyone know of a place where I can score these little slivers of nummy goodness?
I haven't had them since I moved away from Kentucky, and I'd LOVE to find a place to enjoy these (in moderation, of course).
Had them at The Counter in Palo Alto
Andrew Jaeger's House of Seafood in North Beach has them. Check out their bar menu:
is a thread i started a long time ago. short answer is i still havent found any so i just made my own at home.
So you're saying the Prince of Wales in San Mateo doesn't make them anymore?
They were offering them earlier this year, as I had them for the first time. Not really my cuppa tea. I'll stick with the Habanero Hamburger. :-)
sorry for the confusion. i did have them at the prince of wales but didnt think they were that great.
I would agree with that. Once was enough on the wallys. It's an oddity to be experienced and filed.
They have fried green olives, but not pickles, at Pappo in Alameda.
