What happened to Lincoln?

On Wilshire in Santa Monica... Couldn't find a recent post here. Anyone know why they closed or are closing?

    Thanks for the tip, carter.

Seriously, what a relief! the food was whatevers and the service was forgettable at best... at least the new hotspot will hopefully be enjoyable.

Oh. Wait. My mistake. The reservation is for Wilshire. That's a relief.

Good riddance to mediocre, overpriced Lincoln.

Matt Straus is probably one of the 2-3 best sommeliers in LA, and his list has excellent varietals that are not regularly found on restaurant lists. Unless you are doing byo, talk to him regarding your wine needs.
They are having a wine tasting that night on the patio, and it is a Hanzell tasting for $75 a person with appetizers, so he might not be as available as you might like, yet if that format might work, it might prove to be a very interesting wine tasting evening as I am sure you know.

They have been "closed for remodeling" for a while now, and WestsideLisa has the correct info. Holly's West was mentioned in last Thursday's Calendar section in the "Buzz Clubs" section.

It now appears to be a club called Holly's West:
