Just back from Vancouver/Victoria
Had a great couple of meals there...
Victoria:
Palgiacci's was great for inexpensive but delicious hearty Italian food.
Vacouver:
West was on the very expensive side but it was an excellent meal. I had a risotto with chanterelles and a beef tenderloin dish. The waitress said the chef actually researched the rice for the risotto for months and ages it for over a year. The beef tenderloin dish was excellent!
Guu Garlic (Robson). This was a Japanese tapas place that was another great meal. I particularly loved the deep fried dishes like deep fried mashed potato, corn and chicken-- really interesting combo that you wouldn't expect. Very nice waiters!
