I'm visiting my parents from California and we really want Vietnamese! Can anyone recommend a good place for dinner tonight on the South Shore (Quincy perhaps?) Thanks!

  1. Hi,

Unfortunately the name escapes me at the moment, but there is a Vietnamese place in the Kam Man Marketplace mall, on Quincy Ave. (Rte 53) that is decent. I've only had the pho there, but it was quite good and very reasonable.

I think I remember reading a good review here of the same place as well, a while back. If you do a search on the board, you might find it.

    1. I think its called Pho Yuen Dong. I might try it if I don't get any other recommendations before we go. Thanks!

      1. Hi,
I found the link for the review:

        1. Definitly go for Pho Yuen Dong in Quincy. I live in Quincy and I'm happy to say my trips to Dorchester are a thing of the past when I crave Vietnamese. After your meal take a walk around Kam Man Market place

          1. Thanks everyone! We did go to Pho Yuen Dong and had a great dinner. If you are ever in the San Francisco Bay Area and need some recommendations, feel free to ask me!
