Oriental Garden Dim Sum!

Wow - that's all I can say. My girlfriend and I had been dillgently going through the dim sum establishments in Chinatown and think we have finally found our favorite. The quality exceeds by far Golden Bridge and Jin Fong (when people are not getting food poisioning) - the selection is much better than Golden Unicorn or Dim Sum GO GO and the price is better than Pings. To top all that off the wait staff was friendly and attentive, a much friendlier vibe than the big banquet halls. Our favorite dishhes were the rice roll with shrimp and the shue mae pork dumpling - just realy a wonderful experience over all.

I agree. It's small-ish, but the service is friendly and helpful, the selections are always fresh and varied. My only qualm the last time I was there was that not everything was as hot as we would've liked-- not old, just not quite hot. Everything was wonderful, though.

I also agree. This has been my favorite place in chinatown for both dim sum and dinner for the last several years.

Do they do the carts for dim sum or is everything to order?

          No carts

They do have a few carts, but that may only be on the weekend. The menu is very easy to order from with pictures of each dish.
