It brought out the aromatic aspects of the fruit, tasted almost herbal. If I'd been tasting it blind I might have guessed cucumber and ... basil? Not as smooth as the sorbettos at Gelato Milano (think of it as a fine granita), but the flavor was good. I paired it with the Scoop's lemon verbena ice cream, which was also excellent.
