Father is visiting, he LOVED Babbo on last visit, suggestions for a follow-up?
Can be more casual, food is the focus. No loud restaurants. Anywhere below
34th St is game. Thanks!

You could check out Campanile on 29th street between Park avenue south and Madfison. It serves the best Italian, but traditional, food. The linguine frutti di mare is to die for. The owner really takes care of his clients. The restaurant has a nice decor and the tables are far apart so you are not following the next table's conversations.

Well, you can explore the Batali empire: Lupa, Otto, Casa Mono, Del Posto. Many on this board will swear that, as far as value for your money goes, Lupa is on par with Babbo.

Oh: Most of these are relatively loud, but if you didn't think Babbo was loud, you might not notice.
