Broadway Eats With The Family?

I'm meeting up with my parents, sister and her daughter next month for the Broadway Theater Tour. We plan on eating lunch afterwards and I'm trying to figure out a place to go.

Would have to have decent food, good atmosphere and the potential to appeal to a couple of 60-somethings, a couple of 30-somethings and a 15 year-old.

Thought Clifton's might be fun for the kitschy atmosphere, but I'm not sure about cafeteria food.

Anybody have any ideas? Or should we just hop on the red line and eat somewhere other than downtown?

  1. You can go to the Pantry on Fig and 8th or take the metro to Alvarado and eat at Langer's Deli. Also take the metro back to Union Station and eat at Phillipe's or up the street from Phillipe's at CBS Restaurant (Chinese).

    1. Don't eat at Clifton's. Check out the kitsch if you want, but don't eat there.

      1. Pete's Cafe at 400 Main comes to mind.
