The Habit...Burgers that is

Ok, I've been to the habit a million times but, never to eat a burger. (Don't eat anything w/4 feet or more). I retain the dwntwn Ventura joint is still the best hoeever, for all you In and Out fan's ,please give this one a try. I'd be curious as to your opinion. Hubby loves the Habit better. We frequent Venura often and sometimes it's a tough decision-the Habit or Andria's. But, we went to the Woodland Hills one yesterday. The place is wonderful. I always have the albacore either on a salad or as a sammy. The fries aren't as good a Ventura but, the service is first rate. :) KQ

  1. Used to work near the Encino location, and tried it a coupla times and must say it is in the running for one of the poorer burgers served by a chain specializing in burgers - the thing was dry and almost tasted as if cardboard on my last visit.
Never any people in that location either - wonder how they keep the doors open.

So you eat fowl and fish, but not octopus or calamari?

I tried this place since its grand opening in Valencia like 5-6 years ago. The burgers at least seem to be on the same quality as in-n-out as far as freshness goes. However, whenever I go the burgers seem to be missing something, like I'm never fully satiated even after eating the whole meal. Probably been to it like 10 times, but I stopped going, perhaps I should give it another try.

Ya' know, I have to agree. Everything looks right, cooked right, but just doesn't get higher than a fast food burger. It must be black magic.

I truely like In&Out but only if I order the burger cooker medium or medium rare and the fries well done. I take the diet coke as is.

      2. I've been to the Habit in Simi Valley. Tastes very similiar to Fatburger if you ask me. Except the burgers seem smaller. I'd rather have the Kingburger from Fatburger any day.
