best tempura ice cream?

I'm craving tempura ice cream. Where are your favorite places? I'm especially interested in places that serve green tea ice cream.

No Green Tea version as far as I'm aware, but surprisingly good version of "fried ice cream" at Tiny Thai (Ninth Avenue, high 40's).

Yama's is by far the best.

I didn't care for it much in my one experience at Yama. The ice cream was still frozen hard as a rock...

The restaurant catches a lot of flack, but Monster Sushi has really good green tea tempura ice cream (they also have red bean).

Benihana's used to (as of a year ago). Hamachi on E.20th and Bdwy also serves it, but I didn't find it to be that great.

I've read that Sushi of Gari has it, sometimes.

            402 E. 78th St.
            between York and First Aves.

The only place I know of is Watana on 7th Ave in Park Slope.
