Great lunch spot near Melrose or Montana?

kay06 Aug 9, 2006 11:27 PM

I'll be visiting LA next week for work and am looking for some suggestions on where to have a great lunch and true LA experience. Something close to Montana Ave in Santa Monica or Melrose (btw Fairfax and La Cienega) would be ideal since I will be in those areas for appts. Also, any great area coffee places for b'fast in the a.m. or an afternoon pick-me-up? Many thanks!

The best burger in LA (and quite possibly the world) is to be found on Montana at Father's Office, which also offers an amazing selection of gourmet spanish tapas. Just look for the line out the door...it's totally worth it. Father's Office is a must-do when visiting LA>

You won't have a hard time finding a good lunch spot on Montana (or Melrose)...

Get of Melrose go to 3rd at Orlando - La Terza for some of the best Italian from Gino Angelini. If your really ready for a big lunch tell them what you like and how many courses and they might do it.
      cheers LAJay
