Hello hounds,

I would like to ask all of you if anyone knows of a good restaurant in either Odessa, MO or Sedalia, MO. I'll be driving through around late afternoon, so I'll likely have dinner there.

As always, thanks for all the great recs!

I know I'm a year past your post, but just found this site. I live in Sedalia and for Mexican I highly recommend El Espolon. We used to love El Tapatio, but prefer this place. The food is just as good, it's cheaper, and closer to our house. Very different atmosphere, but we love the food and the management is great. It's located on 65 South, past the fairgrounds, in the strip mall with Orscheln's.

Also in Sedalia, we love the Little Big Horn, the Ivory Grille (in the Hotel Bothwell) and the Brick Front Grille.

Dickie Doo's BBQ on South 65 Highway on the right hand side when you're almost out of Sedalia driving south is good, too.

The Wheel Inn has the gooberburger... homemade peanut butter on an oldfashioned "deluxe" hamburger. It's not bad, really.

BBQ - recommend Kehde's (pronounced kay-dees) on South Limit.

In Sedalia, if you like Mexican, try El Tapatio. Its next to ColorTyme (or something like that) on the Southeast corner of 50 and 65. Their chips and salsa are really good. Its a more authentic than Tex Mex but I really just love their chips and salsa. Do not eat at Patricia's no matter how many billboards you see for it. There is also The Wheel around the same corner as El Tapatio. I don't know much about it but it seems to be a Sedalia favorite. I think they might put peanut butter on hamburgers or something like that.
