Update on Hatch chiles availibility

The hatch chiles will be available this weekend, Aug 12th & 13th at the Big Saver Market located in Norwalk at 12832 Rosecrans Avenue from 7 AM to 1 PM. Once again, 30lb sacks $22.99 and free roasting available.

The following weekend, Aug 19th & 20th, 30 lb sacks will be available at the Max Foods markets at 2469 Via Campo, Montebello and at 1800 W. Whittier Blvd., La Habra. The hours are from 8 AM to 2 PM. Cost is $24.99 with free roasting.

I believe all the stores that are selling the 30lb sacks also sell them loose. Max Foods does but I don't know the price.

For those Hounds looking to buy less than 30 lbs. of Hatch Chilis, Albertsons in Marina Del Rey (at Washington Blvd and Lincoln Blvd) is selling loose Hot Hatch Chilis for $0.99/lb. Check your local Albertsons to see if they have Hatch Chilis.

Also, Albertsons in Reseda (Address 190307 Saticoy St, [phone]) is selling 30 lbs sacks of roasted Hatch Chilis for $24.99 on Saturday August 12 and Sunday August 13 from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
