Any suggestions on where to buy chipotles in adobo sauce in the Markham/Scarborough area?

Most of the big Loblaw's and Dominions in TO carry Herdez brand chipotles in adobo...usually close to the jars of pickled jalapenos and taco shells. I would think the big Loblaws at Bayview & Hwy 7 would have them...

Not to be a wise guy, here, but did you try a large market? Look in the international food isle at the Mexican food section. They usually have cans.

After you find them, and only use a few, you can put the rest in a plastic bag and freeze them for the next time.

Go the Kensington Market. There area couple of latin grocery stores that sell a variety of good peppers. If not, go to a Loblaws or Rabba's for the covenience

Herdez and San Marcos brands are commonly available thru NG stores(i.e., Loblaws, Fortino's, No Frills) around the GTA. San Marcos makes a nice chipotle sauce that's great BBQ sauce material.

No Frills as well always has them in the mexican section. I'm a fan of Goya if they have them. Too bad you're not downtown near St. Clair area, tons of small latin markets around.
