An interesting dilemma. Two long time CH posters, one in Pa (currently SteveR) and one in NY (currently Steve R...me). Small signature difference but enough.

However... when one does a Steve R search (I was looking for my old posts), one gets all the Pa postings, since he apparently used to be Steve R on the old boards (and I used to be Steve R.: notice the . )

Now everyone I know thinks I'm the go to guy for Pa. and he'll probably get my bad reputation. Whatever are we to do to sort this out?

New York Steve R, there's only one thing to do: we must bring down and destroy Pa Steve R! This board isn't big enough to support two Steve Rs and everybody knows a Brooklyn Steve R can kick the a** of a lesser Steve R. Who is this doppelganger?!!

BTW, I'm just kidding. Can I change my handle to Steve R 2.0?

Unfortunately, there's not really anything that can be done here. One of the perils of choosing non-unique usernames is just this sort of confusion.
