Lobster Newberg - Is there ANY place in the L.A. area that serves it ?

I have a friend who is craving after Lobster Newberg from somewhere, but I can't find it. I tried the search function here, and zero. I rounded up the usual suspects, but no luck. I did find Lobster Thermador at:

Musso & Frank - Hollywood
Dal Rae - Pico Rivera
Delmonico's Lobster House - Encino

So, does anyone know any place that serves Lobster Newberg?

I believe Regent Cafe, on Atlantic Blvd. in Alhambra, serves both lobster Thermidor and lobster Newburg.

whats the difference between newburg and thermador? the later is served in the re-filled shell and the former with puff pastry/is that right?...does the former have more sherry and stuff like that in it?

Newburg is a reduced cream sauce flavored with Madeira. Thermador is a bechamel with parmesan on top that is then browned with bread crumbs on top.

Would your friend settle for a "Seafood Newberg" instead ... this is something that McCormick & Schmick's apparently dreamt up ...

Probably wouldn't want to, but might have to, as M&S's is:

Seafood Newburg - Bay Scallops, Blue Crab & Gulf Shrimp.

I did try a dish search on menupages with Newb"u"rg spelled with a "u" instead of an e and I came up with:

Wine Bistro in Studio City - Raviolis De Homard Aux Crevettes, Sauce Newburg Lobster filled raviolis, sautéed shrimps, Newburg cognac sauce.

The Old Spagetti Factory in Hollywood - Friday special of Shrimp Newburg over fettuccine.

Still none of those 3 are the Classic Lobster Newberg (or Burg) we were looking for.

            Classic Lobster Newberg?

For that I fear you have to go to the source in NYC at Delmonico's.

          Amazon.com (gourmet foods)?

I heard there's a lobster festival going on in L.a. around this time. Redondo or San Pedro?

Just out of curiosity, I went to menupages.com, which has a "find a food" search function. Nada! Plenty of thermidor, but not a single newberg. What has L.A. come to?!
