Has anyone eaten at AOC?

Angelina Aug 8, 2006 09:35 PM

The menu seems very good, and my friend said she enjoyed it. Just wondering what others think?

Thanks

I had dinner at AOC on Bleeker last week and the food was OK. Nothing to write home about but not bad either. The atmosphere is nice and the service is friendly and professional. The pricerange is adequate so you don't leave feeling ripped off. If you don't go expecting fabulous, fantastic food, you'll have a nice time.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our dinners there even if the service was a tad slow. We go back every couple of months and are never disappointed.

Merci Lucia and goat! I will not be making a visit to AOC!

I ate at AOC about 6 months ago. Frankly, it sucked. Probably the worst service I've had in a restaurant in years. Took a waitress about 20 minutes to come to the table. Food was average at best but the service completely ruined the night. Oh yeah, it took over 20 minutes to get the bill and another 20 mintues to pay it...that was a lot of fun.

I had the same service issues when I went, but I was catching up with an old friend, so wasn't bothered.

I haven't been to either Les Halles location.
If you're looking for French bistro close to AOC, I had a better brunch at Les Deux Gamins on W 10th near 7th Ave.

AOC on Bleecker St. or AOC Bedford? I've been to AOC on Bleecker for lunch and food is passable, not more, not less.
