Ocean and Vine

Any thoughts on this restaurant in the Loews hotel?

  1. Nice place, especially if you get a table with a view of the pier or sit around the inside fire pit for cocktails and appetizers--the fondue can be quite fun and I like the (very) spicy mussels. The food is interesting and quite good, though prices have crept up of late. There are some interesting wines on the list but, sadly and short-sightedly, they got rid of their wonderful "wine mistress," Mandie, who also used to run the front of the house. Service is hit or miss, depending on who you get. There is significantly reduced rate parking with validation.
