I've been to Rudy's, which I loved, what other great BBQ is around Waco? Tex-Mex?
You are going to take flack for liking Rudy's, but ya know: It's doing something right. My-out-of- town guests love it and frankly, I can't believe it's not a national chain. I take some to Lockhart too, but most would rather just go to Rudy's.
I kind of figured that'd be the case. I'm more than willing to be re-educated.
By the way, if you do wind up at Rudy's, get the half-chicken and sausage link. Good meal and a bargain.
Last time I went, we had brisket, hot link, and turkey breast. Couldn't get over how juicy that bird was.
