French Toast Muffins Recipe?

Does anyone have a recipe for french toast muffins with maple flavor or syrup in the batter? I found one recipe online but it does not have maple syrup in the batter. Thanks, Richie

I've mentioned before that I love the bbonline.com site. I figured some B&B must serve this, so here it is...

However, if you Google MAPLE MUFFIN (instead of french toast) you will get a bunch of results, hopefully one will work.

Are you referring to a kind of french toast that uses muffins (or slices thereof) as a base instead of bread? This sounds intriguing. Or is it simply the name for a muffin?

I went to Stew Leonards in Danbury, CT yesterday and they had samples of french toast muffins and they were so delicious so I figured I could make them at home better. It was a muffin like any other muffin...like a corn muffin.
