Cookie Cake

Wanna bake a cookie cake for a birthday. Usually use the Nestle recipe but does any one have a better recipe?

Ok - This is so very easy I do it all the time. I open a bag of Betty Crocker Chocolate chip cookie mix, mix the 1 egg and unsalted softened butter it calls for on the bag. Then put into my square glass baking dish (8x8), bake 20 or so minutes and wella-done. Sometimes I add extra c.chips and or chopped walnuts. Always a hit. BTW-I usually get the cookie mix at Walmart for a 1.50$ 'cuz markets are 2ice the $$. Also Pam the dish...:) KQ

What do you mean by cookie cake? can you elaborate?

I think she means a large chocolate chip cookie like at Mrs. Field's instead of a cake.

I always thought of this as a pizza cookie. Or by a resto chain in LA, a 'pizzookie'. Deadly, delish. What makes this delicacy more deserving of the title 'cake'? Or are we envisioning something taller here?
