Your thoughts on MORRELL'S at The Grove??

Hey Everybody,

I know Morrell's gets panned often on this board but I was wondering...Is it good if you just orders standards like a decent FONDUE or SOUFFLE?

I love fondues and souffles. Also, do they do Grand Marnier Souffles for dessert?

It looks like a nice place to eat outdoors.

Also, IS THE SERVICE REALLY THAT BAD??

Thanks!

Why not get an outside table at Mimosa or a patio table at Cafe des Artistes? Not as synthetic.

The service has been OK when I have been there. The cheese assortment is good. The food is average to below average and the fondue sucks.

Downstairs is absolute crap. Bad service and bad food. They're only in business because of the overwhelming traffic of their "synthetic" location. Upstairs, I've had better luck, but I've been so put off by my experience downstairs that I've quit going. If you're at the Grove, go to the Farm.
