Table 13 in Ventura
The food is literally inedible!! I am not even exaggerating! It is considered the "fine dining hot spot" of Ventura, which should tell you something right there. The management was abusive to the staff and the Veal dish tasted a lot like cat food. I will never go back! If you must eat somewhere in Ventura, I'd suggest Taj (pretty decent Indian food) and Fiore (which can be obnoxiously busy and the food is so so, but it's slim pickings in Ventura). Everyone is better off just bypassing this town altogether and proceeding directly to Santa Barbara or better yet, Los Angeles. Forget it, just hop a plane to New York City!

You are preaching to the choir! Table 13 was called Pastabilities for years. I believe same owners and same terrible food, only the name changed. So sorry your experience was so bad. You are right....Ventura is a chow wasteland. So that Ventura hounds will see your post and avoid this place, please put your post on the Los Angeles Board, which is the correct Board for Ventura.
