Dessert in Pittsburgh

We're looking for place to get good dessert in the evening, anywhere from 7-10 pm. Right now our favorite is the Pie Place near South Hills Village Mall. If you've ever been, we're looking for something with that type of atmosphere- a counter service dessert place with tables that you can sit and linger as you please. We're not looking for traditional sit down restaurant type places. The local chain of Crazy Mocha has OK desserts and we're not looking for chain store such as The Cheesecake Factory. We're hoping to go somewhere new tonight (Pie Place was last night!) so your suggestions are much appreciated.

Gullifty's in Squirrel Hill! And for something different...Zenith on Southside. You'll need to check out their hours though!

Sorry Panini Guy, the pressed coffee was damn good, but I still stand by what I said. The OP in that thread wanted something close and within walking distance and has heard of Aldo. I personally don't feel that Aldo merits a further drive to visit when LaPrima is closer and IMO better.

A few months ago I had a canoli at Aldo and a press pot with my wife. The coffee was great and the canoli good. But, I live nearly equal distance from both places and you won't catch me driving to Aldo then searching for parking when I can get something better at LaPrima much more conveniently. You also can't beat the old world vibe sitting on the sidewalk at LaPrima with a few groups speaking Italian. Plus, Cafe Richard is right around the corner as is Enrico's. If I lived in Mt. Lebanon or drove down West Liberty Ave. on my way to work I'd be very grateful to have your place to stop at rather than Starbucks. But that's not my case. Sorry.
