Hi!

Some girls and I will be in Sin City at the end of this month and we would really like to find the best sushi in town! Would prefer the omakase style sushi, but as long as the fish is fresh and tasty, anything will do! Thanks a lot!

Is Mondo Sushi still there? Strange honeymoon experience at that one!

I don't remember the name of the place, but the sushi/Japanese restaurant in the MGM grand is fantastic. I went there because of an article in Sunset magazine about martini's, and this place in the MGM had this "snow martini" (could be the wrong name) was supposedly the best in Vegas. The Tini was great, and sushi was some of the best I've ever had. The big video screen behind the sushi bar was very cool.

I say, get some himachi at all of them, then you tell us which is best:)

I second that. Okada is wonderful! Enjoy!

Get thee to Okada, at Wynn Las Vegas. The sushi is excellent, the chefs are excellent, the atmosphere is excellent. All in all, it's, well...excellent.

After you've tried an item or two, talk to your chef and request something special. Since he won't know your preferences that fast, it will help to describe what you're looking for (e.g., something really different, or something with a really strong flavor, etc.).
