Cold eggplant serendipity
A sautee of eggplant and fresh sweet onion with a bit of cumin seed (heat oil quite hot, pop cumin in oil, add vegetables, cook over pretty high heat) was good but the cold leftovers were even better dressed with a good squirt of lemon. I'm making this on purpose in future.
Although it turned a weird blue-green-gray color I've only seen in bad bruises or really threatening storm clouds. Tasted great!
