Italian Sub in East Boston

Just had a Super Italian Sub at Roy's on Marion St. in East Boston. It is made up of imported parma ham and other fine meats which melted in my mouth. It's a nice take out, took it to a park off of Maverick St. on the waterfront, for a nice lunch.

Can't go wrong with the "Sammy Special" at Carlos' on Bennington Street.

Great recommendation... I hope to try it out. Another place with an excellent Italian using imported meats (cappicola, prosciutto di parma, sopressata/salami) is Sessa's in Davis Sq. I prefer his subs to the (quite good) Il Pannino sub and wish that Guiseppe's still had the same subs as before the ownership change.
