Taquerias in Tampa Bay

I love Mexican food. I also love any variety of Mexican food (I am an equal opportunity kind of guy). We are pretty lucky in the Tampa Bay area to have such a large number of "authentic*" Mexican taquerias, and I would love to try them all. Help us compile a list, along with addresses or directions if necessary. Here's what I have so far:

El Taconazo (The Taco Bus) - One of my favorites so far, I go there often.

El Mescalito - A little family owned taqueria in a strip shopping center on East Bay, between Tech Data and 19. Good tacos, the pork is excellent. Tortillas are not homemade (they rarely are), but they are good. Stick with the tacos, as I was unimpressed by other dishes. They even have a grocery attached, as well as a few tables and inexpensive Mexican beer and Pulque.

Suggested by others and on my list:

El Toro Negro in St. Pete

Mi Mexico on Armenia in Tampa

El Gallo on S. Missouri (between Drew and Druid) in Clearwater

La Cabana del Tio on Drew in Clearwater

Los Vaqueros on Drew in Clearwater

Any others? Please comment on what is good and what is bad. Thanks for the suggestions, and thanks to all the regulars, Andy, Bergerman, Laurie, Tandoori Girl, Joan and others.

* A footnote on the word "authentic." Just because it is authentic doesn't mean it is good. And it doesn't have to be authentic to be good. Personally I feel it is a useless criteria, but fire away with the recs.

There's a giant Tampa area Mexican thread at the top of the page...

I like "Taco' N Madre" on Gulf to Bay in Clearwater Florida for tacos.

Simple . . . Meat (beef, pork, chicken, or Mexican BBQ) with cilantro and onion.

I normally grab a taco special - 2 tacos, rice and beans covered with cheese - 6 bucks maybe?

They have two different hot sauces, red and green, both made fresh.

This makes a great snack for lunch!
