ISO Brain Sandwiches

I am looking for deep fried brain (traditionally beef, but sometimes pork) sandwiches like they serve out in the Midwest. Any restaurant in the Greater LA/OC area serving it?

I think that every taqueria that i have been to since the mad cow scare no longer serves sesos. Trust me, i used to eat them all the time but cant find them anywhere any more.

Go to a taqueria and order a torta de sesos -- probably as close as you'll get in LA.

many of the mexican taquerias serve brain.

I guess you cant get brain sandwiches anywhere. Im surprised places dont serve pork brain in LA.

Alton Brown's new Summer Series, Feasting on Asphault's show this week showed it. Not my cup of brains.

He pointed out that it is only pork these day's due to mad cow disase.
