Quiet Lunch in or around Napa

Two very generous friends take an elderly lady to lunch every year for her birthday. The elderly lady loves the Napa valley, loves good food, and is somewhat deaf. Hence they seek a restaurant with very good food which is quiet for lunch. Can anyone suggest such a place?

Thank you in advance.

Chandon has a subdued dining room, and the terrace has very nicely-spaced tables. Food, setting and service are all fantastic.

Pearl in Napa is a small, cute, very comfortable place with very good food. I think it would qualify as downtown Napa.

Auberge du Soleil seems like a perfect fit, in my experience. Food is fine, surroundings are spectacular, and I've never foud it the slightest bit noisy.

Agreed. If they go there, be sure to mention the details/special needs of the dining party to the reservationist, and you are sure to be well taken care of. Plus, the food is very good and the kitchen is more than willing to take care of any special dietary needs/requests, like my Grandmother (sodium restriction).
