Freeman's cocktails

Desidero Aug 3, 2006 04:16 PM

I am going to Freeman's and am interested in sampling some of their highly touted cocktails. Are there any in particular that stand out?

Thanks in advance.

Try the "Dark and Stormy" which is esentially ginger beer and dark rum.

Agreed, their Dark 'n' Stormy is delicious. It's also legit--they use Gosling's Black Seal rum for the authentic experience!

I agree, I actually enjoy the dark & stormy at Freemans more than the dark & stormy at Milk & Honey.

How is the wait at Freeman's these days?

There is a nice Mint Julep in the metal julep cup and straw, and also the Bramble (gin lemonade with creme du muir) which is great in the heat.

The waits vary, but not as bad since the new dining room opened. Prime time last week was still 45-hour. Earlier two weeks ago was walk right in...

I had a drink with some gin, champagne and I lemon in it. I can't remember the name, but it was really refreshing and good... And I don't even like gin.
