Chinatown Cart @ Hester and Bowery -- Gone?!

This cart always dished some of my favorite street food (and a lot of other people's favorite, judging by the lines) -- deep-fried tofu, eggplant, and peppers, as well as the usual fish balls, rice noodles, etc. But a few months ago an upscale tea shop opened on the corner, and I haven't seen the cart there since.

Does anyone know if the cart has re-located? I'm jonesing, people...

  1. Theres another place on Canal which sells cheap stuff out of a cart. Everything is a dollar. Rice noodles, 3 spring rolls, lo mein, chinese pancakes, fried chicken, and some other stuff. down canal, maybe like 2-3 blocks from the manhattan bridge on the left side going down towards the tunnel. It might be right in front of a bank.
