lunch spots

Hey Everyone,

I just started working here in North Long Beach, bordering Paramount and Bellflower, just north of the 91 fwy. I'll need to start entertaining clients, so I'm looking for not too expensive but nice restaurants. Also, hole in the wall places for just me. Ethnic is great, there's a billion Thai places here, but hard to decide where to start... Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

  1. Ok, so I've heard of a Peruvian place called El Ricoto near the mall here. But I'd really appreciate any other suggestions. Thanks again

El Ricoto is terrible. The food is terrible and the ambiance isn't much better. Unfortunately, North Long Beach is lacking in terms of places to entertain clients. THere is a gem called "ARTE CAFE" located at the Cerritos Towne Center. Tell Richard to cook you guys something specials and he'll make it a memorable night.

THere are many CHinese/Korean places out in Cerritos. Just look it up with Chowhound.

    2. Don't know if this is too far for you - but I would definitely venture out to Enrique's on PCH and Loynes. One of the best Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles County. AMAZING food and definitely has a "hole in the wall" environment.
