I second the educated burger. And plenty of options on the menu to get washed down

Lucky's Classic Burger & Malt Shop. Bedford Street in Stamford, in between Telluride and Capriccios.

Haven't had the shakes, but how about GoFer in Stamford on High Ridge Road? Their ice cream is very good and made in small batches, so it would be hard to mess up a shake.

I second Shady Glen but I would also suggest to order it as Chocolate....with Chocolate Ice Cream.

that's the way to go! get yourself a cheeseburger or cheesefurter...or just a side of crispy cheese to make it all the more fun.

Timothy's ice cream on Fairfield Ave in Bridgeport. This place is one of Ffld county's best kept secrets. They make their own ice cream BY HAND and they have great shakes. They're on a nice looking little row of stores as you first enter B-port from Fairfield.
